Ingredients:
- 1 pizza dough
- 1 cup butternut squash puree
- 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 1/4 cup caramelized onions
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh sage
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup toasted walnuts optional
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 475F 245C
Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness
Transfer the dough to a pizza stone or baking sheet
Spread the butternut squash puree evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border for the crust
Sprinkle the crumbled blue cheese, caramelized onions, and chopped sage over the butternut squash puree
Drizzle olive oil over the top and season with salt and pepper to taste
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the toppings are bubbly and slightly caramelized
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a minute before slicing
Optional: Sprinkle toasted walnuts on top for added crunch and flavor
