Instructions:
In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream and sugar until stiff peaks form
In a separate bowl, mix the mascarpone cheese and vanilla extract until smooth
Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined
In a shallow dish, combine the brewed espresso and coffee liqueur
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the espresso mixture, ensuring they are moist but not soggy
Place a layer of dipped ladyfingers in serving glasses or a dish
Spread a portion of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers
Top with a layer of sliced strawberries
Repeat the layers until ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of mascarpone mixture on top
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow flavors to meld
Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder
Garnish with additional sliced strawberries if desired
